- Chat display names, chat colours, chat messages, message timestamps, temporary stream-session information, and chat or player preferences saved locally in the visitor’s browser.

To operate, secure and moderate nadeshiko.cc’s livestream and live chat. This includes displaying chat names, colours and messages; synchronising chat with temporary stream replay; using IP addresses temporarily for connection limits, rate limiting and abuse prevention; and saving user-selected chat or player preferences in the visitor’s browser. This benefits visitors by providing a functional and safer livestream and chat service. The information used is limited to what is necessary for these features. IP addresses are not stored as part of chat messages, and nadeshiko.cc does not use this information for advertising, profiling or tracking visitors across websites. These limited uses are proportionate and are unlikely to override visitors’ rights and interests.
Where we get personal information from

- A visitor’s browser, device or internet connection when they access the website, livestream or live chat.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected:
- Chat history is capped at the 5,000 most recent messages. Older messages are overwritten when this limit is reached, and the history may also be cleared manually.
- IP addresses used for chat connection controls and rate limiting are held temporarily in memory and are not stored with chat messages.
- Temporary livestream DVR content is configured for a maximum duration of eight hours.
- Chat and player preferences stored in a visitor’s browser remain until the visitor resets them or clears the site’s browser storage.
- Information contained in queries or complaints is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, resolve the matter, comply with legal obligations, or handle a related claim.
Sharing information outside the UK
Where necessary, we will transfer personal information outside of the UK. When doing so, we comply with the UK GDPR, making sure appropriate safeguards are in place.
